Stopping today, after a very full yesterday, to think again on what I am so thankful for......I am blessed so much that it sometimes is hard to believe.
I am thankful that one day Jesus died on a cross so that I could be his child and that I can one day go to a place where there are no heartaches or trials...only sweet peace.
I am super blessed that I married my best friend. Sure we've had our "days" but really I would be lost without him. We've been together for 21 years (married for 17 of those) and I hope for many, many more years together. He is my rock.
I am also so thankful for my 3 beautiful, handsome, sweet boys. They are pure boy and they are sometimes totally wild, but I wouldn't know what to do if they were not here. In fact, I can't really remember what I did before they were here. Jordan is a teenager now, and he's such a great kid. So far none of the horror stories of his teenage years....yes sometimes he seems like he's in his own world and I have to ask if he's listening, but overall he's a great kid. Carter is a handfull! He is 90-to-nothing ALL day. He is constantly wanting to do something or go somewhere. He is so loving and wants to make us happy. Talon is our sweet unplanned blessing. I love waking up to him laying on his tummy, looking over the edge of his crib smiling his "gummy smile" at me. Even when I don't want to get up, when he smiles all the way from his eyes to his mouth, it makes me "forget" I'm tired. I am blessed that God decided to let me mother a baby again. All of the little things he does everyday reminds me that I am blessed to re-live this for a third time. I love his smile, his cute little "occasional" laugh, his discovering new things and his so sweet smell. I said the other day I wish I could bottle his smell and when he gets older I would take it out and remember his sweet baby smell. I guess if I could bottle the smell of a baby, I'd be rich! I'm sure lots of moms would love to go back and smell that sweet smell. Anyway....my boys....I'm thankful....If I could only freeze time so I could keep them little a while longer....they grow so fast.
I am thankful that I still have both of my parents and that for the most part, they still have pretty good health. They both mean so much to me and I cannot imagine not having them.
I'm also thankful to still have my Granny Lois. We've almost lost her a few times and in reality, she holds us all together. She is such an important part of my life and I'm proud God has seen fit to let us keep her this long.
I'm thankful for Grandma Ashley also. Kevin's family is just as important to me as mine is. I'd do for them the same way I would mine. Grandma is such a sweet woman and I would surely miss her if she wasn't here.
I'm thankful that I DON'T hate my in-laws. So many people cannot say that. We actually have a great relationship. I AM their daughter. For that I am thankful.
My two sisters and my brother...and their spouses........Life would be boring without them. I'm proud we can laugh together and when on occasion we "fuss" together, we realize that we are siblings and that we will always be there for each other no matter what. I love them all and so thankful we are siblings.
I am also thankful for all my nieces and nephews. They are all just like mine. I am thankful that Amber, Alisha, Kayla, Curtis, Cody and Cassidy are growing or have grown into such great adults. Also that Laia, Gabriel and Asher have a few more years of being my babies.
Thankful that I have a wonderful friend that accepts me for who I am and loves me depite the fact! We can laugh at anything and on the occasion that we can't laugh....we are there for one another. It's great to have a friend like that!
Okay and last but not least.... all my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends....There is no way I could list everyone because I am so blessed, that there are so many. Anyway you know who you are!!!!!
Okay I guess this is finished. I didn't plan on it being so long, but when I got started, I kept remembering more I was thankful for. So if you are still reading, Thanks for taking the time to hear about my blessings! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We are all so blessed!

Wow! Sometimes you just get a reality check!
Where to start? Today was a sad day for lots of people. A beautiful, sweet, wonderful Child of God, was called home to be with Jesus. I've only known Taylor a short while, but long enough to figure out she was an awesome person. She was dating Jared (he's like one of my own) from our church so that is mainly how I got to know her. My heart is heavy for the family and friends and for Jared. I'm devastated that they have to face this. She is in a wonderful place, but the people closest to her are grieving tonight. Things like this really make you think about life and how short it really is. So love unconditionally & fully and hold your loved ones a little tighter cause you never know what tomorrow will bring. I know I forget this sometimes but I'd like to remember more often. Just wish I didn't have to have this reality check. Please pray for all of Taylor's friends and family for the peace and comfort from the only one who can give it.

Presenting:........Talon Luke Ashley
May 11, 2011
7 lbs 13.2 oz
20 inches long
Our third beautiful baby boy!!!!
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever have another baby! We didn't think we would have another, but God gave us an unexpected blessing. Now, life wouldn't be complete without him. Talon is such a good baby. He is not a whiny baby. He cries when he's dirty (sometimes), sometimes when he has tummy trouble, and when he's hungry (I mean, wake from a dead sleep to screaming, he wants his food now!) Otherwise he's very good.
We went from two sweet beautiful boys to three and I wouldn't change it. Actually we had a newborn and a teenager in the same week. Jordan turned 13 on May 14th. We are blessed that Jordan is a very good kid and not your typical teen. He is being great with Talon. He has always been a great big brother to Carter, but it's different with him being older this time. He has really been helping me out and it's so cute to walk in the room and him be sitting and gazing at the baby.
Carter is having the privilege of being a big brother for the first time. Even though he has had a couple of moments when I have had to reassure him that I love all of my boys the same, he is really being great with the baby. He loves to sit and hold him and is forever sneaking in and kissing the baby wherever he is (even if he's peacefully sleeping for the night. (well at least a few hours til it's time to eat again) I have to keep telling him to get a quick soft kiss, because I guess in his eyes a lingering noisy harder kiss is better!)
Kevin and I are both in awe once again of God's love and we are so thankful for 3 healthy boys. A month ago I couldn't imagine life with another baby and now I couldn't imagine a life without all three of the boys.
Well I will add some pictures so you all can enjoy him too!

Will I evet get everything done?
That's the question. I have so much to do and I want to get it done, but I can't seem to get it done. I am so super tired all the time and I've been sick for like a month. I try to do a lot but after a little while I'm not feeling well! I guess it will get done...:....................eventually.

My ever entertaining Carter!!!!!
The pictures are not of the day I'm gonna tell you about, but it shows how crazy Carter can be. Some of them were with my phone so they might not be the greatest, but they show his personality. If its a Mohawk, goggles with winter gear or playing a cowboy by sticking a napkin (from the restaurant you are eating at)in your ears and using it as a bandanna..........It's Carter and he's mine.....Oh yeah and I'm loving it.
Now to the story. Kevin took the boys fishing Saturday. Carter wanted to keep all the fish, even the small little guys. Kevin had thrown a few up on the bank, but decided he needed to get them in the water; so his tackle box was a little away from where they were standing, so he went to get the stringer, leaving Carter to "Watch" the fish. On his way back he said he looked and Carter was down on his knees by the fish. So Kevin asked him what he was doing......and in a way that is only Carter's, he said, "I was spitting on them so they would stay alive." Ha Ha...So Cute. Kevin said he picked them up and they were covered. Evidently Carter had spit on them the whole time Kevin was away. I had to laugh.

Home with 2 sick boys.
Wow, its been a long 4 days! Thursday Carter woke up feeling bad, so he stayed home from school. No throwing up, just fever and feeling bad. We were out of school Friday which ended up being a good thing since Jordan got sick too. They have had high fevers and congestion and sore throats. They have felt terrible! Laying around and sleeping a lot and not eating much. I ended up having to give Jordan a breathing treatment because he was having a hard time breathing. Carter has taken this sickness as a way to snuggle with mommy. I have held him so much in the last 4 days. Kevin is worried about me getting sick, but moms do what moms have to do and really, I was living it up! I mean Carters getting bigger and one day he won't let me hold him when he's sick.
Take Jordan for example, I offered to hold Jordan (or at least let him lean against me) but he didn't want to. He still let's me hug him and give him a goodbye kiss but its not very often I get to "hold" him.
Anyway they DO NOT feel good. On a funny note, Carter has decided since he's sick he gets his way and we have to do everything he says. lol. Jordan wanted something to eat and Carter was in my lap. So I told him to get up so I could get Jordan something. He said, " Bubba is 12 and I'm 8". Another words......take care of me not him. lol. I had to tell him that Jordan was my baby too and I had to take care of him too!. This is only one of the many things he's said/demanded in the last few days.
I am so tired. I told Kevin last night that he had to take over because I was mentally exhausted. Which didn't work the way I wanted it to since Kevin HATES germs! Nobody takes care of them like mommy does! lol.
Well not very exciting, but my life anyway.
